Inner Child

This piece was created at a time where I really wanted to venture out of my current artistic rut of a “style”. I was stuck in a thought pattern where I thought art had to be realistic for it to be good. I decided to try something completely knew, discovering and playing with different mediums.

I had so much fun with this piece and felt like my art style was finally starting to show through. Funny how playing around does that! I feel its so common to get caught up in the details that we forget to have fun with art and not abide by these made up rules.
